Run is a Fundraiser for the Brockville & Area Food Bank organized by the Brockville Road Runners Club.
NOTE: This is NOT a virtual run as commonly understood. This is a fundraiser and community celebratory event in the sense that all participants set out from their front door, at the same time, 10am, on the same day, July 1, Canada Day.
No use of Garmins, or other tracking devices needed - there will be no monitoring of times or reporting of results as there would be in a virtual run.
Note walkers are very welcome to participate. Also, if a 1K run or walk is more suited to your age and/or abilities, feel free to join in the festivities!
Entry is by a donation. A tax deductible receipt will be issued by the Brockville & Area Food Bank for donations of $20 or more. If you wish to receive a tax receipt you must fill in your name and address on the registration form.
