This in-person workshop is modules #6-8 of the Athletics Club Coach Course for Throws. It is designed for coaches who work with athletes over the age of 15 in throwing events. It falls into the NCCP Competition Pathway.
For modules #1-4 of the Athletics Club Coach Course for Throws, coaches should take the online Foundations of Coaching Course prior to attending this workshop.
In addition to learning advanced technical progressions, coaches will also learn age-appropriate strength training and how to put together a seasonal plan - all specific to the throws event group.
NOTE: Because this in-person workshop is being held on campus at the University of Lethbridge, all COVID protocols established by the University of Lethbridge will be followed.
