This meet is also a Prep Meet even if you are not interested in being selected for the MTA Provincial Team to compete in July.
IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR SELECTION TO THE MTA PROVINCIAL TEAM, ATHLETES *MUST* HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THE FIRST QUALIFIER MEET ON MAY 31.
However, Throws will not be part of this meet... Throw qualifiers will be selected from the first meet on May 31.
This meet is open to athletes from any MTA club/ school teams.
Events Offered:
TRACK- 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, (1200 m) 1500 m, 3000 m (Atom and older), 4x100 m Relay
FIELD- Long jump
Event Limits:
Peewee- Compete in 2 events
Mite & Tyke- Compete in a maximum of 3 events of which only 2 can be track events
Atom - Youth- Compete in a maximum of 3 events (any combination of Track & Field)
Tentative schedule included in technical package. Final schedule to be communicated Friday June 27.
Note the 200 will be run after the 800 and before the 4x100 m Relay.
