Join us in Kelowna April 18 and 19th for a coach development weekend! Participants will have the opportunity to complete either or both Sport Coach and Club Coach (endurance, sprints, throws or jumps) training.
Sat. April 18 - NCCP Sport Coach - 9:00 am to 5 pm, with a break for lunch
Sun. April 19 - NCCP Club Coach - 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a break for lunch
Defining Sport Coach and Club Coach:
The Sport Coach course provides an Introduction on how to coach All of the event areas, ideal for coaches/teachers working with athletes 9 years up to U16, in a multi-event setting.
The Club Coach Course - is Event Specific training for coaches/teachers working with athletes that are U16 and Up, and starting to specialize in one event area.
Please note, there are additional Club Coach modules, Seasonal Planning and Managing a Sport Program, that will be run separately online (zoom meeting) on the evening of May 12, but there is no additional cost.
