MEET WILL BE HELD AT CANADA GAMES PARK/ BROCK UNIVERSITY.
This meet is NOT an intersquad meet. This meet is open to athletes from other clubs. An early opportunity to get in some competition marks for the summer.
Second meet is being held on WEDNESDAY JULY 29. Sign up at www.trackie.com/event/TETC-July29 and will include events specifically for Rising Stars ages (U8, U10, U12).
The meet will provide an early summer prep meet or season opener in a variety of track and field events. Events will be OPEN for the most part with heats based on seed times. All jumpers and throwers will receive six attempts.
Events Offered:
TRACK- 100 m, 200 m, 300 m, 400 m, 1200 m, 1500 m, 2000 m, 3000 m
Sprint Hurdles, 1500 m Steeplechase
Relay requests will be considered
FIELD- Long jump, Triple jump , High Jump, Shot put, Discus, Javelin, Hammer
Note that hurdles will be for U14 and older only. This location tends to be windy and so scissor hurdles for younger ages cannot be used as they will blow over.
4:00 pm warm-up time.
Anticipated 4:30 pm start. Meet to be concluded by around 9:00 pm.
Tentative schedule included in Technical package. Final schedule to be determined based on entry numbers.
