There's something big going down on the west coast. On June 13, The first Pacific Distance Carnival is set to take place at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby. The Carnival will play host to a ripping round of 1,500s, a Mile 2 Marathon chase the pace 5,000m event, with options for everyone to race and the crown jewel of the event, the Canadian 10,000m Championship races...complete with a viable record attempt. This week we chat with organizer and Olympian Chris Winter, Canadian marathon, and half marathon record holder, as well as someone who may have their eye on the 10,000m record, Rachel Cliff and from Mile 2 Marathon...you know him, Rob Watson.
