Last weekend saw our nation's best and brightest heading to Edmonton to meet up and do battle, with national titles on the line. Some races were blazing fast, some were a little more grinding and tactical, but all of them turned out to be entertaining, filled with athletes who were hungry to prove they belong in the national discussion after a particularly prosperous spring.
On this weeks episode, we chat with 2 athletes who really stood out during the meet, and will definitely be ones to watch for come Pan Ams and Worlds. Matthew Hughes, the Canadian Steeplechase record holder, and re-crowned national champion joins us to chat training, Jager and the hometown advantage and Nicole Sifuentes who wowed us all with an impressive 1500 and 5000 double championship, also joins us to talk worlds, and a season full of surprises.
