The Wolfe Island Community Medical Clinic in partnership with the Kingston Road Runners Association invites you to beautiful Wolfe Island for one of the most unique race settings in Ontario. Choose from the 5K, 10K or Kids 1 Mile, hop on the Wolfe Island ferry and join us for a fun race day!
RACE KIT PICK UP
Monday, July 1st: Limestone Mile at the Kingston Memorial Centre, 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Sunday, July 7th: Wolfe Island Classic Road Race, 7:30-9:30 a.m.
RACE TIMES
Kiddie Fun Run: 9:15 a.m.
Kids 1 Mile Run: 9:30 a.m.
10K: 9:50 a.m.
5K: 10:00 a.m.
The proceeds from the weekend of races will be donated to the Wolfe Island Community Medical Clinic.
There will be NO race day registration for the 5K, 10K, and Kids Mile.
T-shirts must be purchased by June 7th. No shirts will be available for purchase on race day.
This event will not be issuing refunds or deferrals of any kind. Many of the costs of putting on a race are incurred well before the event. Registration fees directly cover these costs. We appreciate your understanding of why we are not able to accommodate refunds and appreciate your support.
FERRY SCHEDULE
The ferry leaves from the Kingston dock at 7:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
Walking on and leaving your car in Kingston will save you time coming to the race and leaving the race.
We are providing two shuttles from the Dawson's Point dock to Hotel Wolfe Island off of the 8:00 a.m. ferry from Kingston. You will arrive at the registration/start line at 8:30 a.m.
There is also a shuttle provided by the Ministry of Transportation from the Dawson's Point dock to the Town Hall off of the 7:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. ferries. The Town Hall is a 5 minute walk from the race start/registration.
We recommend racers take the 7:00 a.m. or 8:00 a.m. ferry.
Washrooms are available, as well as coffee and light breakfast items for purchase.
The ferry will leave from the Dawson's Point dock at 12:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., etc.
We are providing 2 shuttle buses for the 12:00 p.m. ferry back to Kingston. The buses will board at approximately 11:40 a.m. at Hotel Wolfe Island and bring you to Dawson's Point.
If you are staying later to enjoy a lunch at Hotel Wolfe Island or exploring Wolfe Island, the Ministry of Transportation provides shuttles from the Town Hall to the Dawson's Point for the 1:30 p.m. boat and all subsequent boats.
