I'm new to XC nationals, can someone explain the point system used for branch points and team points?

They remove any non-team runners from the team scoring, so the scores are usually lower than their finishing place.

I find this ridiculous because some teams dropped significant placements from what they could have been if all runners were accounted for. Quote comment -

This is the IAAF method; take it up with them. Quote comment -

Yeah but not the OFSAA method. I mean really, who is more important? (sorry couldn't resist). Quote comment -

You're right; what was I thinking? I guess living in the West has warped my judgement...

The YOUTH GIRLS results tab shows JUNIOR results. Can that be fixed?

"Stefan MF daniel"
I see this athlete is listed as a paratriathlete. Would anybody care to explain what it is that physically limits him?
He is obviously a very talented individual, he ran away from second place on the weekend. But to the average bystander, like myself on the course, there was nothing that stood out. Quote comment -

One of his arms has some sort of disability/deformity. This was quite obvious to anyone watching him race. Likely doesn't have much effect on his running, but I could see how it would hinder his swimming to a good degree. Quote comment -
