What do you need to play Pickleball?
- Paddle - here is A Beginner's Guide to Buying the Best Pickleball Paddle. BVPA has some loaner paddles for our TRY IT participants, Beginner and Novice 2.0 players to borrow until you purchase your own. Occasionally BVPA has some demo paddles for you to try with the option to purchase.
- Court shoes - good court shoes are essential. ASICS and SKETCHERS offer a good selection of shoes.
- Protective glasses - protective glasses are strongly recommended when playing pickleball and can be regular glasses, sunglasses or Court glasses
- Balls - BVPA supplies all the balls for regularly scheduled play. However if you wish to purchase your own balls for unscheduled play, there are a large selection of balls you can use for indoor and outdoor play...Ball resource
